Sales Supervisor
As our Sales Supervisor, you will be fully responsible for driving sales and setting the standard for customer experience at Emilia George’s Flagship Boutique, located on Greenwich Street in Tribeca. You will be the main brand ambassador representing Emilia George in NYC and across all channels, including e-commerce. You will collaborate with peers and customers, as you ensure a quality experience for every customer. You must pride yourself on your ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage your days lucratively. You must be quick to learn about product, pricing, and materials and monitor current stock in-store and online to elevate the customer experience. You will be expected to achieves and exceed goals through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining and building a client book of productive long-term relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
Store Maintenance Management:
- Actively lead store cleanliness and organization
- Set store standards and ensure merchandise on sales floor always meets those standards
- Lead the charge in creating a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff
- Be responsible for opening and closing the store
- Set the leadership example for other store employees
Inventory:
- Become a Shopify master and be comfortable utilizing the inventory-tracking system on a daily basis
- Restocking store shelves and hanging items before opening & closing each day
- Maintain accurate stock levels in Shopify inventory through proper register maintenance
- Request new stock from corporate when products are sold out
- Sign for product shipments, unpack and store product
- Point of contact for outbound shipments to customers for entire company from store stock
- Develop shipping labels, package sold products, and coordinate client package pick ups before 5pm daily
- Maintain relationship with corporate office regarding all stock inquiries
Client Management:
- Personable, able to client drive business, happily interacts with customers and building relationships
- Takes ownership of meeting and exceeding store and individual employee sales goals and KPI’s
- Develop a strong client base through proactive client outreach, deep understanding of client needs, and the ability to build & maintain relationships with new & existing clients
- Provide regular assistance to customers and troubleshooting expertise where needed (resolving order / sales issues, returns, exchanges)
- Serve as an expert on product knowledge and product education for customers and staff
- Follow company news of launches closely and implement them in all client outreach
- Answer phone calls and respond to store-related emails and other communications
- Complete all store transactions: purchases, returns, exchanges with zero errors
- Is a master of all systems provided, including Shopify / Endear / E-commerce
Requirements
- Retail or service sales experience required
- Comfortable leading other sales associates and having increased responsibility for store functioning
- Well-versed within Shopify or similar points of sale platforms
- Strong written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and grow business
- Personable and client centric
- Strong organizational skills
- Dependable and trustworthy with all store responsibilities
- Professional attitude and customer service focused
- Strong work ethic and ownership over role and responsibilities
- Approachable, warm, available, and welcoming
- Capable of curating solutions and handling difficult customer interactions and conversations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, always changing environment
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Weekend availability required; weekends, events, evenings, some holidays
- Store Schedule / Hours : Monday - Friday (11am - 6pm), Saturday - Sunday (10am - 7pm)
